There are two different types of organizations on greenfence, there are suppliers and there are services providers. This decision is made when the organization is originally created, and it stems from what your organization sells. If you sell goods or products, you are a supplier, if you sell some form of service, you are a service provider.
These two broad labels encapsulate all organizations on greenfence, however, these labels fail to highlight exactly what type of organizations are present on the platform. Many organizations will consist of: farms, packaging facilities, headquarters, retail locations and much more. These are examples of organizations that sell products.
The most common form of a service provider that you will encounter on the platform is an accreditation body. These organizations will provide certificates that demonstrate proficiency in a certain area of your organization. These certificates will show your supply chain that you are compliant with a certain standard or requirement.
